You can’t change the truth – KKD speaks
Broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) has expressed gratitude to God after he was discharged in a rape case brought against him by the state.
KKD, who charged with raping a 19-year-old girl last year, was discharged by an Accra High Court Wednesday, after the State decided to discontinue it prosecution of the matter.

A press release signed by the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Mrs Marietta Brew Appiah-Opong, cited the unwillingness of the victim and her family members to testify as the main reason for discontinuing the case.
It however indicated the preparedness of her outfit to return to the case should the witnesses avail themselves.
Speaking to Accra-based Starr FM after he was freed, KKD said said people must yearn to seek the truth in every circumstances.
“It is easy to believe the worst about those you hate and the best about those you love.
“But whatever happens let us seek the truth, there is only one truth; there can be many interpretations but only one truth and we cannot change that. All I want to say is 'thank you God',” he said.
