New Crystal Health Services is headquartered in Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region with six branches in other areas including Tema, Michel Camp and Takoradi. It also operates health training and health management facilities.
The company’s ranking follows impressive performance in the area of profitability, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
The Ghana Club 100 ranking is an annual initiative by the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) to honour companies that excelled in their various areas of operations in the previous fiscal year.
New Crystal Health Services’ performance is a marked improvement over last year when it placed 25th. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr Wisdom Amegbletor, said ninth was a reflection of the company’s commitment and dedication to hard work, despite the challenging times.
He dedicated the awards to the hardworking staff of the company as well as the patrons of their facilities.
He said the health services company saw its patrons as a family and would continue to serve them well.

Dr Amegbletor said private health facilities were key players in the country and called on government to seek partnership with them in delivering health care to the people.
He said the private health facilities could complement government’s efforts in extending health care to rural areas through various public-private partnership arrangements. He also urged government to create the enabling environment for smooth delivery of health care particularly by private facilities who accept the National Health Insurance.
