EC rectifies anomaly in ongoing limited voter registration exercise published data

The Electoral Commission (EC) has said there was an error in the data published last week to update the public on the ongoing limited voter registration exercise.

According to the commission, the figure published in the slide on challenge cases for the Greater Accra Region was wrongly repeated for Upper East Regional as well.
Aside that, the commission says all other figures published last week were correct.
"The Commission has today met with the Team responsible for developing the Infographs and made significant changes," the commission said in a statement.
In addition to that, "more rigorous methods will be instituted going forward.
