“The food we provide is for our agents working at the polling stations, not for voters in the queue. So how can anyone suggest we are attempting to induce votes? This has never been the case. It's a normal routine,” she said.
Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has strongly rejected the allegations as "reckless" and "unfounded," accusing the online outlet behind the report of attempting to tarnish her reputation.
She condemned the publication for neglecting basic journalistic standards, such as fact-checking and accuracy, and stressed that such reports only undermine the integrity of the media.
The MP reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Ablekuma West with honesty and integrity, emphasizing that her focus has always been on promoting a fair and peaceful electoral process.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful also expressed disappointment over what she described as a deliberate attempt to sow division and undermine the trust she has diligently built with her constituents.
"My team is committed to ensuring a smooth electoral process, and any logistical support we’ve provided has been welcomed by all those involved," she said.
