George Andah, Yoofi Grant resign from OccupyGhana council
Two members of pressure group, Occupy Ghana, George Andah and Yoofi Grant have resigned their positions as members of the group’s Executive Council, a statement issued by the group has said.

According to the statement, even though the two have officially resigned from the Executive Council of Occupy Ghana, they remain members of the group despite their decision to step down from the Executive Council.
Mr Grant has been appointed and currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) whilst Mr Andah, currently a member of parliament representing the people of Awutu Senya West has been nominated as a deputy minister for communication by President Akufo-Addo.
Occupy Ghana is a social and political non-partisan pressure group, committed to abhorring corruption in the country.
The group was established out of the frustrations of the Ghanaian citizens who were dissatisfied with the way the economy and country was governined.
OccupyGhana has been known for their interventions into state affairs, one of the recent work of the group is the passing of a law forcing Auditor-General to recover misappropriated funds in Ghana.
Yoofi Grant is now the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)
