Ghana Election 2024: Mahama warns against rigging
The Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has urged election officials and the security services to refrain from engaging in vote rigging or any undemocratic actions during Saturday's elections.
Addressing the NDC's final rally at Madina in Accra on Thursday evening, Mr Mahama cautioned against any plans to interfere with the electoral process or manipulate the will of the Ghanaian people.

"I want to caution our security services, the military and the entire body of people who are in charge of supervising this election, I urge you to resist the nefarious actions that some people are planning," he stated.
He reaffirmed the NDC's commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the election, pledging vigilance and resilience.
"National Democratic Congress will go to the polling stations with you, together, we will police and courageously Protect our votes and resist all attempts to steal them," he said.
Mr Mahama assured voters that the NDC would work collaboratively with them to ensure the sanctity of the election and prevent any efforts to undermine the electoral process.
