Ghana Election 2024: People’s National Party unaligned
The People’s National Party (PNP) has indicated that the party remains unaligned to any of the aspirants in Saturday's general elections.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson and leader of the PNP, Janet Asana Nabla, thd party said their decision was a reflection of their
unwavering commitment to the party's principles and mission of prioritising the welfare of the
vulnerable over partisan interest.

"While the PNP will not endorse any candidate in this election, we urge all Ghanaians, particularly our members, to prayerfully seek God’s direction. It is only through divine guidance that the nation can identify a leader who is truthful and capable of addressing the numerous challenges confronting Ghana." the statement said
The PNP also called on the Electoral Commission to ensure that the election was conducted transparently, stressing that as the custodian of Ghana's democratic process, the EC had a crucial role in maintaining public trust by guaranteeing a credible and peaceful election.
The party also admonished the media to adhere to responsible and balanced reporting that promotes unity and educated the public, ensuring that the electoral process was peaceful and informed.
The party encouraged Ghanaians to embrace peace and reject violence.
"Let us approach this election as one people united by a shared destiny. Regardless of the outcome, we must come together as a nation to build a better future for all," she said.
