I admire Victoria Hamah's 'assets' - Kweku Baako

The Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, says he has admiration for Ms Victoria Hamah, who was Friday relieved of her duties as Deputy Communications Minister.

Ms Hamah’s dismissal came after she was heard in a leaked recording implying that she would not do anything to jeopardise her political career until she had made $1 million.

Commenting Wednesday on the development, Kweku Baako expressed regret at the former Deputy Minister’s dismissal.

He expressed doubts about Ms Hamah’s capacity as well as that of her family to handle the huge media attention that the recording has engendered.

“I feel very sorry for the lady”, he said, adding that the content of the recording was “very, very bad”.

"The first time I met her, I admired her. .. I admired her 'assets'. I was excited to see somebody so naturally endowed”, the Crusading Guide Editor told Accra-based Peace FM.

Kweku Baako went on to describe Ms Hamah’s ‘one million dollars’ comment as an “unforgivable thing to say”.

He said there was no way the intent to amass $1 million dollars in political office could be rationalised.

He also made reference to a portion of the recording where Ms Hamah claimed to have heard that Nana Oye played a fundamental role in securing a favourable verdict for President Mahama in the 2012 election petition verdict.

Kweku Baako described that claim as “political damaging to the lady, to the government, judiciary and the country”.

“You cannot dismiss it”, he said, adding that he supported calls for the claim to be investigated.
