Mahama rounding up campaign in Ashanti, calls on Juabenhene, attends Ejisu mini rally before heading to Accra for Madina rally
As part of activities in rounding up the 2024 campaign, former President John Dramani Mahama was in the Kwabre East and Juaben constituencies in the Ashanti Region on Thursday.
He called on the Juabenhene, Nana Otuo Siriboe II in the final moments of his campaign in the Ashanti Region before heading to Accra for the National Democratic Congress's final rally at Madina.

Before going to Juaben, he was in the Kwabre East constituency.
At the Juabenhene's palace, Mr Mahama assured that the NDC was committed to bringing development to Juaben.
He also made a donation to the Juabenhene, demonstrating his commitment to the well-being of the community.
Nana Otuo Siriboe II, who has a long-standing friendship with Mr Mahama, welcomed him warmly.
He recalled Mr Mahama's visit to Juaben on his 40th anniversary celebration on the throne and expressed his appreciation for Mr Mahama's presence at the final rally.
The Juabenhene emphasised the importance of issue-based politics, rather than violence, stating that all Ghanaians desire development and peace.

He affectionately referred to Mr Mahama's entourage as his children, including Mr Kwame Awuah Darko, a former government appointee whose late father the Juabenhene made a development chief of Juaben.
Mr Mahama then proceeded to address a gathering of NDC supporters at the forecourt of the Juabenhene’s palace.
It was the last day of his six-day campaign in the Ashanti region where he has been preaching the message of change.

He will hold a mini rally at Ejisu before heading to Accra for the NDCs final rally at Madina.
Kwabre East
At Kwabre East, Mr Mahama reaffirmed his party's commitment to improving the lives of persons with disabilities.
Mr Mahama emphasized that his administration will ensure that individuals with disabilities receive the allocated funds mandated under the District Assembly Common Fund.

"We will care for the disabled, we have the track record," Mr Mahama confidently stated.
This promise is in line with the NDC's manifesto, which highlights the party's commitment to inclusive growth through health, education, and sports investments.
The NDC has also endorsed a Private Member's Bill, which seeks to ensure a five per cent mandatory minimum employment of persons with disabilities in all public and private institutions in Ghana.

Mr Mahama said his administration plans to promote social inclusion by addressing the needs of core constituencies, including persons with disabilities, and promoting equal access to public services and protection from abuse.
