NPP appeals for public insights on 2024 election outcome  

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) 2024 Election Review Committee has called on party faithful, sympathisers, and the general public to provide insights and information on factors that influenced the outcome of the 2024 elections.

In a statement signed by the Secretary to the committee, William Yamoah, the committee emphasised the importance of public engagement in its quest to “reposition the party for victory in 2028.”  

The committee has urged individuals to share their observations and analyses of the party’s performance, including successes and challenges, via email at yamolliam@gmail.com. “The input from our stakeholders will be invaluable in crafting a comprehensive roadmap for the party’s future,” the statement noted.  

This open-door approach forms a critical part of the committee’s mandate to review the 2024 electoral cycle comprehensively. The committee aims to identify the root causes of the party’s performance and develop strategies to rebrand and strengthen the NPP for a decisive victory in the 2028 elections.  

Chaired by former Speaker of Parliament, Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye, the committee includes distinguished individuals from academia, politics, and law. Its methods will incorporate both qualitative and quantitative research to ensure an evidence-based review.  

By inviting grassroots members and the broader public to participate, the NPP seeks to demonstrate transparency and inclusivity in addressing the challenges it faced in the 2024 elections.
