Savannah Regional Minister, Salifu Adam Braimah loses Salaga South seat
The Savannah Regional Minister and the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Salaga South, Mr Salifu Adam Braimah has lost his second term bid to Parliament.
He was defeated by the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) Hajia Zuwera Ibrahimah.
Hajia Zuwera as she is affectionately called secured 20,525 votes to defeat Mr Braimah who secured 19, 086 votes.

Hajai Zuwera also becomes the first female MP for the constituency since Ghana returned to multiparty democracy in 1992.
