Ghana loses to Mali; Faces Nigeria Wed

The Black Satellites of Ghana yesterday stumbled to a 0-1 defeat at the hands of their Malian counterparts, Young Eagles, in their third group game at the ongoing Africa Youth Championship at the Caroline Faye Stadium in Mbour.

The result leaves the Ghanaians as runners-up of Group B and they face their football rivals, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, on Wednesday at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium in Dakar.

In Group A, Nigeria finished top while hosts Senegal who play Mali emerged runners-up

The winners of the semis will face-off in the final on Sunday, at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium to be preceded by the third-place match between the losers of the semis.
