Opoku leads goalking race in MTN FA Cup

As the MTN FA Cup gets to the final stage, Quick-silver striker, Elvis Opoku Kamara, a former national U17 star  and Bibiani Gold Stars player, is leading the goalking race with seven goals. He has so far emerged the best player on three occasions.

With three matches played so far, Opoku who many describe as Ghanas future great, has banged in seven goals. In their first game against Wasaman, he scored two goals. Against Accra Hearts of Oak at Bibiani, he again netted with two goals and last Sunday against Kotoku FC, Opoku, who is in the form of his life, netted a hatrick to bring his goal tally to seven. 

Speaking to Graphic Sports after their game with Kotoku FC, Opoku expressed happiness and said he could only thank God and, the management of Gold Stars for the blessings and support. 

“I thank God for his blessings and also the management of Gold Stars  for their support”. 

 Opoku was one of the players who starred for the national U17 team then headed by coaches Afrani and Frimpong Manso but were unfortunately eliminated by Libya in 2009.
