During the tour, the club will also present the Premier League trophy to the traditional leaders and the people in the area.

At the Mamprugu Naa’s palace, the overlord of Mamprugu, Naa Bohagu Mahami Abdulai Sheriga, urged members of the respective regional house of chiefs in the three regions of the north to throw their weight behind Wa All Stars during their African club competition to make them.

He described the feat chalked up by Wa All Stars as an honour for the three regions in the north and called for massive support for the team as it embarked on the continental football campaign.

The Mamprugu Naa also pledged his unflinching support and that of the country at large to the team and urged the players to go into the CAF Champions League as warriors.

Naa Abdulai Sheriga further advised the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to bury the hatchet to save Ghana Football since many of the players’ livelihood depended on the game.

The team, led by the General Manager, Seth Panwum, and Coach Enos Adipah will also visit the Nyeb Dakpema and the Gulkpegu Naa’s palace and climax the tour with a football match between Wa All Stars and a Tamale Division One select side at the Tamale Stadium.
