Daniel Amartey is not in Brendan Rogers' plans for the future
Amartey has effectively lost his place in the Leicester City team with their manager, Brendan Rogers, opting for players such as midfielder Wilfried Ndidi or Ricardo Perreira and others at the right-back position.
The player has just made one appearance in all competitions this season for Leicester and it was a modest EFL trophy game against Doncaster Rovers.
His Ghanaian agent, Yusif Chibsah, has already stated that his client would leave the King Power Stadium this summer even though his contract is due to expire on June 20, 2022.
Göztepe have a long history with Ghanaian players
Göztepe are not new to Ghanaian players. Last season they took left-back Lumor Agbenyenu on loan when he was struggling to get playing time at Portuguese outfit, Sporting Lisbon.

Ghana legend Richard Kingson featured for the 1950 Turkish champions from 1999 to 2001 on loan from Galatasaray during his 11-year career in Turkey.
Amartey’s career at Leicester has been dogged by a career-threatening ankle injury he suffered against West Ham in October 2018, ruling him out for the rest of the 2018-19 Premier League season.
He joined Leicester City from Danish side FC Copenhagen in January 2016, and has gone on to play 64 games and scored one goal.
