The Central Africa side failed to honour their obligation of $9638.60 and $3479.50 respectively to the two former clubs of the player until FIFA’s intervention forced them to comply with the directives.

Starlets ready to upset Colombia

After over two decades since Ghana last won the juvinile World Cup trophy, the national Under-17 team, Black Starlets, will be hoping to bounce back onto the international stage when they open their FIFA U-17 World Cup campaign against Colombia today.

A sports consortium, Super Entertainment & Sport Consortium has filed an application for an interim injunction, seeking to halt the impending boxing bout between the enigmatic Braimah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku and Bastie "The Beast" Samir.

According to the Daily Guide newspaper, the suit to determine whether or not to grant the reliefs being sought by Super Entertainment & Sport Consortium will be heard on October 12 at an Accra High Court.

Ghana is planning an ambitious-bid to stage the 2038 FIFA World Cup as part of its 40-year national development plan, developed by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC).

The Director-General of the NDPC, Dr Nii Moi Thompson in an interview on Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana program on Tuesday night revealed that the bid is dependent on the country fulfilling other financial and infrastructure targets set in the draft National Development Plan which was handed over to the government last month.
