GTF extends deadline for ‘I love Taekwondo’ contest

The Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) has extended the deadline for the submission of entries for this years “I love Taekwondo video contest” from August 31 to September 15.

The extension of the deadline is to give taekwondo clubs in educational institutions who are currently on vacation, the opportunity to also participate in the competition when schools reopen.

The Managing Director (MD) of Right to Dream (RtD), Robin Bourne-Taylor says his outfit is committed to offering the best opportunities to Ghanaian children and will continue to protect them from unscrupulous agents who steal players and deny the football academy of returns on their investments.

The National Sports Authority (NSA) has rationalised the closure of the D.G Hathiramani Sports Hall to athletes until full renovation works are completed.

Kwasi Appiah launches foundation to support ex-sportsmen

Black Stars head coach, James Kwasi Appiah, has promised to contribute $5,000 seed money for the Kwasi Appiah Foundation set up to support retired footballers and athletes.
