At yesterday ‘s unveiling of the Cup, Coach Bashir Hayford, head coach of Ashgold, who was seated by his skipper, Eric Opoku said he expected a tough challenge from his former side, Medeama, and hoped the better side carried the day.

"I am hoping that the boys will put up a good show. I am expecting the fans to enjoy themselves and be thrilled. However, this is not a do or die affair," Coach Hayford stated.

His counterpart, Tom Strand, who was seated by his goalie, Muntari Tagoe, was more confident in his pronouncements stating emphatically that his side would win the trophy.

The Danish trainer said,"We have beaten them many times. We will both battle it out but Medeama will win on the day.”
