This 2-0 loss on Sunday adds to Ghana's winless record against Mexico, having played four matches without securing a victory. The Black Stars have also struggled to find the net in three of these encounters, conceding a total of six goals.
Looking ahead, Hughton's squad will shift their focus to the upcoming friendly against the United States of America on October 18. These matches are integral to their preparations for the initial phase of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
