BOXING: Ghanaian kayoes Lebanese in under 2 minutes (VIDEO)

For Lebanese amateur prospect, Elias Farah it was an honour to fight on the Azumah Nelson Fight Night bill but the baby-faced military officer got more than he bargained for on Sunday when he stepped into the ring to face Musah Rahman Lawson in a three round amateur middleweight contest.

Farah buoyed by a Lebanese presence at the Bukom Boxing Arena was no match for his Ghanaian opponent despite making an impressive entry into the ring.

He was felled three times by his opponent before Referee Rosemary Ametepey put him out of his misery in less than two minutes into the first round.

Dressed in a predominantly red strip, Farah visited the canvas for the first time after he received the first punch on his face from Lawson. He rose and was swiftly on his feet, giving an indication that he had only slipped.

He then landed some shots of his own in an exchange with Lawson, only to be dropped once again from another hook to his face.

At that point, the Lebanese had become accustomed to texture of the canvas and was unable to respond to referee Ametepey's count for a final time when Lawson landed a stinging right hook to his face.

Farah appeared dejected after Lawson was declared victor by KO and scuttled away from the ring declining interviews from pressmen who were eager to speak to him.
