Celebrity to host MTN CEO Invitational Golf Saturday

The country’s finest golfers are expected to converge on the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono on Saturday for the MTN CEO invitational Golf tournament.

Arguably, one of the country’s most prestigious competitions of the sport on the calendar, it is expected to attract  some of the nation’s greats including MTN CEO, Serame Taukobong, Okyehene, and Pierre Coussey, former captain of Celebrity Golf Course.

Others such as current captain, Kwasi Poku, Emile Short, Sam Jonah, Owusu Adjapong and former Black Stars striker, Tony Yeboah, are also expected to grace the scene.

The 18-hole medal competition is expected to attract about 90 golfers, and according to Mr Emmanuel Gyasi, Business Segment Manager,MTN, it will be the final competition of the year.

Tee off is at 6:00 am and invitation has been extended to golf courses in the country including the Royal Golf Course, Kumasi, Achimota Golf Course, and the Damang Golf Course.
