Coach Killa faces DC today

The Head Coach of WAFA, John Killa, will appear before the GFA Disciplinary Committee at 4p.m. today after being charged with a breach of Articles 56 and 58 of the Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(1)(a), 35(3)(c) and 35(7)(d) of the GFA General Regulations in respect of their match against New Edubiase United at Obuasi last Sunday.

In the 36th minute of the said match, Coach Kila allegedly verbally abused fourth Referee Issaka Afful, contrary to the GFA regulations, resulting in his expulsion from the inner perimeter by the match referee, holding up play for over two minutes.

Other individuals and clubs who are to appear before the disciplinary committee’s meeting today are as follows: Police Ladies, Hasaacas Ladies, Referee Julia Nyarko (BAR), Hannah Bennin (Match Commissioner), Kotoku Royals FC (two cases), Tamale Utrecht/Muniru Abdul-Aziz, John Killa, Mighty Jets, Okwahu United, Dunkwa United, Galaxy FC, Tamale Utrecht and Tamale All Stars.
