Dreams FC adopt Dawu Park

The management of Premier League debutantes, Dreams FC, have decided to adopt the Dawu Park in the Eastern Region as their home ground in the 2015/16 First Capital Plus Premier League season.

The non-operating park, which is located on the Akuapem hills, was once a hot spot during the peak days of defunct Dawu Youngsters.

A source close to the club revealed that management was close to sealing a deal with the owners of the facility.

The source also disclosed that management was yearning to revive Premier League action in the Eastern Region since the demotion of Okwawu United in 2007, hence the decision to adopt the said venue.

Prior to that decision, all the club’s home matches were played at the Kweiman School Park in the Greater Accra Region.

Dreams FC qualified to the Premier League from Zone Three of the GN Bank Division One League and the adoption of the Dawu Park is one of the strategies management is putting in place to enhance the fortunes of the club in the Premier League.
