Enoch Tettey Tetteh vows to come back stronger after WBC Africa title loss
Bantamweight world title hopeful, Enoch Tettey Tetteh, has vowed to come back stronger following his recent defeat at the hands of Tanzanian boxer Ibrahim Marfia in the WBC Africa Super Bantamweight title bout.

The 23-year-old knockout specialist, who held an undefeated record of 12 fights and one draw before this loss, remains optimistic about his future. Tetteh believes a swelling on his left eye—caused by a clash during the bout with Marfia last Saturday at the City Centre Hall in Dar Es Salaam—affected his chances of victory.
"I want to assure my fans, manager, and trainer not to despair. I couldn’t win this bout, but I will win my next fight and the title. This is just the beginning," he stated.
Tetteh, widely regarded as one of Ghana's best-kept boxing secrets, suffered a headbutt from Marfia in the eighth round of their 10-round championship fight, forcing his corner to halt the bout.
Despite the setback, Tetteh remains determined and has called for a rematch. "I am offering Marfia a rematch, and if he accepts, he will know the real me. I will stop him," he told Graphic Online.
His local manager, Patrick Otoo of Partjaro Trading Enterprise, echoed his confidence, dismissing the defeat as an unfortunate incident.
"Nii Tettey is a class fighter and a master of the game. What happened in Tanzania was unfortunate. I believe the referee should have declared the fight a draw, but it is what it is, and we are preparing for our next fight. He is already back in the gym training," Otoo said.
Otoo revealed that Tetteh is gearing up for another title bout against a yet-to-be-announced opponent abroad. He also urged supporters to remain faithful and continue offering their prayers for the boxer.
