Four players to sign in FPL Gameweek four

The English Premier League week four is almost upon us and it happens to be the last Gameweek (GW) before the first international break.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers would be looking to end the Premier League August fixtures with higher scores in GW four.

The Graphic Sports team have picked four players who could perform better in the upcoming GW and the subsequent GWs after the international break.

Sebastien Haller, West Ham

The West Ham forward officially announced himself in the Premier League following his two strikes against Watford last weekend.

The £45m striker, after a bad start to life in the Premier League against Manchester City on matchday one and an injury which ruled him out of their second league game, the former Eintracht Frankfurt player came back stronger with two goals including a bicycle kick against Watford to secure maximum points for his side.

The Hammers will be facing newly promoted Norwich City this weekend and Haller (£7.0m) looks set to add to his tally.

James Maddison, Leicester City

James Maddison (£7.0m) has been an integral part of Leicester City since he joined the club last summer from Norwich City.

The playmaker registered his second assist in a row last weekend in the win over Sheffield United.

With another favourable fixture coming up against Bournemouth, the ever-improving Maddison looks a good pick ahead of GW four.

Trent Alexander Arnold

Defensively, Liverpool haven’t had a great start to the Premier League season. Though they have recorded three wins out of three games, they have failed to keep a single clean sheet so far with Teemu Pukki’s strike on matchday one, Adrian’s error and Lucas Torreira’s goal denying Trent a deserved clean sheet in the last GWs.

Going forward, the England international has been a threat to oppositions particularly because of his set pieces and crosses into the opposition box and has already justified the reason he is the most expensive defender (£7.0m) in the FPL with two assist so far in the league.

With Liverpool going to every game as favourites and dominating matches, a lot could be expected from the right-back both offensively and defensively as they seek to get their first clean sheet of the season against Burnley this weekend.

Tammy Abraham, Chelsea

Tammy Abraham ( £7.1m) has had to deal with a lot already in the new season. The young English forward was subject to racial abuse after he missed a penalty in the UEFA Super Cup shootout to hand Liverpool another European glory this year.

This drew question marks over the striker’s ability to lead Chelsea to the top after scoring 25 goals for Aston Villa while on loan last season.

Concerns were raised again after Abraham failed to impress in his second league game against Leicester City but the talented forward quickly responded to critics when he scored two goals against Norwich City and helping his side secure their first three points of the campaign last weekend.

Abraham seems to have gained some confidence after repaying his managers faith in him and looks likely to start ahead of Olivier Giroud this weekend against Sheffield United.

Abraham would hope to build on last weekend’s game and add to his tally against the newly-promoted side, hence one of the players FPL could switch their attention to in GW three.
