
Full results as Egypt, Mauritius dominate Africa AirBadminton Championships 2025 in Accra
Egypt and Mauritius emerged as the standout performers at the recently concluded Africa AirBadminton Championships 2025, held at Laboma Beach in Accra, Ghana.
Egypt claimed the top honour in the Team Relay event, defeating Nigeria in a thrilling final to secure their position as the leading team on the continent.
Both Egypt and Nigeria qualified for the upcoming AirBadminton World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, as the top two finishers in the continental tournament earned automatic berths for the global event.
Team Mauritius also enjoyed an impressive run, capturing gold in the Men's Triples and Men's Doubles, silver in the Women's Doubles, and bronze in the Team Relay.
Host nation Ghana earned a bronze medal in the Women's Triple Relay — their sole medal from the championships.
