A stunning low gross round of 71 from Rickie Hurtubise provided the standout performance at the Bok Nam Kim Golf Club's President’s Putter Invitational Tournament, held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Accra. The event was a celebratory send-off for the club’s outgoing President, Air Commander K.K. Pumpuni.

Despite his superb round, Hurtubise finished third in the competitive Men’s Category A on a net score of 76 (71 gross, 5 handicap), with the victory going to Francis Gyasi Nkrumah with a net 74 (75 gross, 1 handicap). Bright Kobby Owusu Ampofo was the runner-up with a net 75 (78 gross, 3 handicap).

The tournament, played under a Singles, Regular Stroke Play format, was fiercely contested across all divisions. In the Men’s Category B, Stephen Yaw Asamoah delivered the best net score of the entire competition, a remarkable 68 (85 gross, 17 handicap). He was followed by Charles Fifi Cudjoe with a net 70 (78 gross, 8 handicap) and Samuel Gyimah in third with a net 72 (94 gross, 22 handicap).

The Seniors Category (65 years and above) was won by Beatrice Dovlo with a net score of 74 (92 gross, 18 handicap). Colonel John A. Okai took second place with a net 76 (92 gross, 16 handicap), while Helen Appah, who recorded the lowest gross score in the category with an 86, placed third on a net 78.

In the Ladies Category, Kezayah Afatsawa was a dominant Overall Winner and Lowest Gross Score holder, securing a superb net 70 (85 gross, 15 handicap). Stefanie Simon finished as runner-up with a net 75 (99 gross, 24 handicap), and Lucy Osei Somuah placed third with a net 80 (101 gross, 21 handicap).
