This was exclusively published in its annual Football Rich List.

Gyan has been tipped by many as the wealthiest Ghanaian footballer ever and this latest confirmation is expected to settle that debate once and for all.

Man City midfielder and Elephants’ skipper, Yaya Toure, tops the African list, while placing 17th in the world.

The publication also documented the highest paid individuals in football per year. The calculations are based not just on individuals’ contracts with their clubs, but all other forms of income, including sponsorship deals.
