The Porcupine Warriors, currently placed 11th on the league log, lost 0-1 to 14th placed Hearts in the first round fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium and will be eager to record a much-needed victory which could compound the relegation worries of the Phobians.

Hearts, tied on 29 points with second-from-bottom Accra Great Olympics, will be eager to bounce back from last Saturday’s loss to New Edubiase United as any further slip will see them sink further into the relegation zone with five games remaining after this weekend.

At the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi, leaders Ashgold will be hoping to end a run of three consecutive games without victory when they play Liberty Professionals, title-chasing Berekum Chelsea host Medeama SC at the Sunyani Coronation Park, and Sekondi Hasaacas host a resurgent Olympics at Essipon.

In other intriguing ties, fourth-placed West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) battle 12th-placed Bechem United at Sogakope, bottom club Brong Ahafo United play Aduana Stars, fifth-placed Inter-Allies host 13th-placed Heart of Lions at the Tema Park, and sixth-placed Wa All Stars engage 10th-placed New Edubiase at the Wa Park.
