The walk, which began from the popular Jubilee Park through Labour to some principal streets in the metropolis ended up at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with a 30-minute aerobic exercise.

More than 600 health-conscious people, dominated by those from the banking sector, thronged the stadium where they were screened for all kinds of diseases.

A regional officer of ICU, Mr Simon Baba Alootey, told the Graphic Sports there was  a correlation between good health and productivity hence the need for the walk.

He said a fix time-table would soon be communicated to all members to make the exercise a  regular programme to improve on the health needs of members.
