Ishmael Tetteh lands C’wealth deal
Super-middleweight contender, Ismael Tetteh, is inching gradually towards a world title as he comes up against British Commonwealth champion, Luke Blackledge, in Bolton on May 13.
The Bukom- based fighter, who has fought 45 times losing 12 and drawing two, is said to have ‘intensified his preparations towards the bout.
At the Discipline Gym where the boxer is currently training, the Graphic Sports saw him skipping and punching seriously to keep his muscles well conditioned.
The youngster has been engaged in a series of roadwork and sparring sessions with former Commonwealth champion, Obodai Sai.
His trainer, Francis Kwardey, told the Graphic Sports that Tetteh was in good shape and ready for the deal in Bolton.
“Tetteh has come far in his career and ready for every fighter in his division” he stated.
Tetteh, alias Black Roy Jones, who appeared camera shy and uninterested in any conversation was hopeful that he would surmount the Blackledge hurdle.
