Justice Dzamefe assures old players

Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Chairman of the Presidential Commission, has assured the nation’s retired players that the commission’s recommendation would condsider their concerns and welfare.

He said they would be adequately consulted to ensure their inputs were integrated into the final work  to be submitted to the President.

At the Commission’s sitting last Wednesday, which was attended by a section of the old players including Rev. Osei Kofi and Mohammed Polo, the chairman said the experience and expertise of the old players would be sought for the final work.

Rev. Osei Kofi and Mohammed Polo had showed up at the commission to express gratitude  for amplifying their concerns which led to the release of GH¢1.7 million to the old Black Stars players by the government.

Rev. Kofi said the government in redeeming the pledge had brought a lot of joy to the old players.
