Medeama to play CAF Champs league game at Baba Yara
Ghana’s CAF Champions League representative, Medeama SC, is expected to play their second game of the competition against CR Belouizdad of Algeria at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The game which comes off on Friday will be difficult for the Ghanaian side as they seek to pick up the pieces from their 0-3 defeat to Al Ahly during their opening game last weekend.
Medeama would hope to take advantage of the home support to record their first win in the competition.
The Ghanaians are in Group D which is considered as one of the toughest groups in the competition this season and Coach Evan Adotey must work hard to ensure they secure victory.
Already the continental governing body has appointed Gambian referee, Lamin N. Jammeh to take charge of the match and will be assisted by Abdul Aziz and Omar Darboe with Alhasan Baboucarr Bass expected to be the fourth referee.
The game is scheduled for 16H00 kick off at the Baba Yara Sports stadium, Kumasi on Friday, December 01, 2023.
