Fire Service band ready to light up Mirror Father's Day buffet lunch
A memorable Father's Day celebration awaits families at the Labadi Beach Hotel tomorrow as the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Band indicates its readiness to light up the atmosphere at The Mirror’s buffet lunch.
Guests will be treated to different genres of music, mouth-watering local and international dishes, exciting giveaways and special moments designed to make fathers feel truly appreciated.
There will also be chances to win exciting prizes in a lucky dip, including gift vouchers.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Director Marketing of Graphic Communications Group Ltd. (GCGL), Mr Franklin Sowa, said the celebration was aimed at giving families a meaningful opportunity to honour the fathers and father figures in their lives.
He said fathers often worked quietly behind the scenes and did not always receive the appreciation they deserved.
"This is an opportunity to say thank you to daddy in your own special way. It is an opportunity for families to create lasting and cherished memories together," he said.
Mr Sowa explained that beyond the rich buffet and captivating live music from the GNFS Band, families should expect surprises, special packages for fathers and touching moments that celebrate fatherhood.
"We are creating an experience where people can see the softer side of fathers. Sometimes fathers do not hear enough about how much they are loved and appreciated. This event will give families the chance to express that love," he added.
He noted that the programme would also allow fathers to hear inspiring stories from other families, while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere filled with music, laughter and meaningful interactions.
The Editor of The Mirror, Doreen Hammond, said, “We are ready to give fathers and father figures royal treatment because without them, there will be no families, and we truly appreciate their role in society”.
Another highlight of the event will be the opportunity for guests to meet personalities from The Mirror and Graphic Communications Group Ltd., including editors whose work many readers have followed over the years.
Sponsors of the event are Ecobank, Woodin, Ghandour Cosmetics, Japan Motors, Latex Foam and X-Men.
