Ramsey calls for instant video replays; As disallowed goal cost Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey says Arsenal’s wrongly disallowed goal against Liverpool underlines the need for video technology.
The Wales midfielder saw his first-half strike ruled out for offside; but replays show Ramsey was onside.

The decision essentially cost the Gunners victory; as the encounter finished goalless.
And Ramsey says the error highlights the need to introduce instant replays for such decisions.
“The replays suggest I was onside. It should have stood but obviously the linesman thought it was offside, those things happen,” said Ramsey.
'At first I thought I was offside, so I held my run a bit, then I realised I was onside. I obviously took a glance over to make sure and saw the flag was up.
“At the end of the day we should have been 1-0 up. To look at a video for 20 seconds in the game would have changed maybe the outcome of the game.
“I think we could take a leaf out of rugby. They do it really well. You see it on the screens, they go off for 20 seconds and they get the decision right in the end.
