Rousing welcome for Gyan
Fans of Turkish club Kayserispor gave their newest signee, Asamoah Gyan, a heroic welcome as they besieged the Erkilet International Airport to welcome their hero.
Gyan, who flew together with the president of the club, Erol Bedir, to the city of Kayseri was mobbed by a milling crowd who had gathered at the airport to catch a glimpse of the Ghana international.
Most of the fans were seen taking pictures of their new idol with their smart phones while others struggled to touch him as a show of their love. Gyan later admitted it was the biggest welcome he had recieved in his playing career.
