The players and officials of the team are entitled to $4,000 each as qualification bonus  per the agreement with the Ghana Football Association (GFA), but they have been waiting unend as the bonus remains outstanding.

Worst still, per diem, as well as camping allowances, still remain unpaid in what a member of the team describes as the height of neglect of the team which has since last month been preparing for a crunch qualifier with Gabon.

The Satellites were held to a goalless draw in the first leg of the final qualifiers, and left  Accra yesterday for the crucial second leg in Libreville on Sunday with the bonus issues still lingering.

According to the member who spoke with the Graphic Sports, the were yet to receive any money since they began their qualification campaign early this year.

“It is demoralising that we have not received a pessewa since we began our campaign. We went to Sierra Leone and back without our per diem and nobody has told us anything’, he stressed.

Coach Sellas Tetteh is leading an 18-member squad in search of qualification the next Africa Championship for be staged in Senegal.
