Seminar for sports medics Dec 18
Two visiting medical facilitators will lead the discussion in a sports medicine seminar to be hosted by the Ghana Football Association on December 18.

Helen Millson, an elite sport physiotherapist, who works as a medical advisor for the insurers of the English Premier League and other elite sports, will be joined by Dr Yetsa Tuakli-Wosornu, a board-Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician and an Instructor at Harvard Medical School, to lecture on evidence-based topics.
The GFA's medical committee members will also be in attendance to share practical experiences.
Topics to be addressed include groin and hip quandries and empowering minorities in sport.
The day's seminar will start at 10a.m. at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association with the target being groups such as team doctors, physiotherapists, masseurs, Red Cross and St John Ambulance services. GFA
