Suspect arrested in connection with attack on Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu
The Ghana Police Service has made a significant stride in the investigation into the assault on Nsoatreman FC coach, Maxwell Konadu, with the arrest of suspect Seidu Musah, also known as Gaswan.
Musah is currently in police custody, cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Authorities are actively pursuing efforts to apprehend the other suspect involved in the incident.

The incident, which occurred following a Ghana Premier League match at the Sunyani Coronation Park, saw Bofoakwa Tano fans attacking Coach Maxwell Konadu. The assault was allegedly prompted by Nsoatreman FC securing a point in a goalless draw against Bofoakwa Tano.
Nsoatreman FC officially reported the attack on Coach Konadu via their social media channels on Sunday, November 19, 2023. The intense match during week 11 of the Ghana Premier League ended in a draw, with Nsoatreman securing the second position on the league table.
The violence extended beyond Coach Konadu, as reports indicate that referee Robert Musey and his assistants were also physically attacked by Bofoakwa Tano supporters.
In response to the disturbing events, the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association swiftly imposed a temporary ban on Bofoakwa Tano FC from using the Sunyani Coronation Park as its home venue.
The Police in a statement said it was committed to ensuring that all those responsible for the attacks face justice.
