Table Tennis: Immigration move to the top

Defending champion Immigration Service clawed their way back to the top spot after emphatic 3-0 wins against Team Coach Addo and Ashaiman Club in the ongoing Stanbic Bank-sponsored Table Tennis League being staged at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports of the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.

In the first round matches of  Week Two fixtures, Synergy lost 2-3 to Team Coach Addo, while SmartLine@Emefs beat Madina Stars 3-0 before Police lost 0-3 to Tesano Spinners.

In the other matches, GRA beat Army 3-2, Western Club lost 2-3 to Team Baboo, and Kings Royal Academy defeated Otumfuo Stars 3-0. The final match saw Navy beat Eastern Loopers 3-0.

In the second round matches, Tesano Spinners beat Ashaiman Club 3-0, while Synergy won 3-2 against Marina Stars.

Police defeated Army 3-2, while Emefs beat Team Baboo 3-0 with GRA defeating Otumfuo Stars 3-1.

The final match of the male category saw Kings Royal Academy beat Loopers 3-0.

In the female category, Tesano Spinners beat Otumfuo Stars 3-0, Team Coach Addo beat Emefs 3-1, Army beat Madina Stars 3-0 and Navy lost 1-3 to GRA while Police beat Western Club 3-0.
