Team Ghana gears up for crucial group-stage battles at African Table Tennis Championships

Team Ghana is firmly in action at the ongoing African Table Tennis Championships in Radès, Tunisia, and attention now turns to the women’s team event, where crucial group-stage clashes await.

The Ghanaian ladies will open their group campaign against the defending champions, Egypt, on Thursday, October 16, at the Salle Multidisciplinaire Radès, before facing Angola at a later time.

The encounters will test Ghana’s resilience and teamwork as they fight for a place in the knockout rounds.

Leading the charge is Cynthia Kwabi, alongside Bernice Borquaye, a consistent and battle-tested competitor, Eva Adom-Amankwaa, another experienced member of the squad, and Joanita Borteye, the youthful spark who already boasts experience from the Africa Games and other international events.

The team is under the guidance of Coach Eva Ampah, whose leadership and technical insight will be vital as the players look to deliver strong performances on the continental stage.

With a mix of experience, hunger, and determination, Team Ghana is poised to make a strong impression, representing the nation with pride, passion, and purpose.
