At a press briefing last Saturday hosted by the sponsor of the bout, Round Up Lounge, at Achimota in Accra, Tetteh, popularly referred to as ‘Abroad Man’, sounded very optimistic.

“I am very positive about this fight; this is what I have been waiting for all my life and I thank Landmark Promotions and the sponsors for making this fight possible,” he stated in the presence of former GBA boss, Samir Captan, and other dignitaries.

Another cracker on the bill dubbed: “Return of the Dragon”, is the comeback of veteran pugilist Michael Ayittey Powers Okine against national heavyweight brawler Eric Kwardey.

Landmark Promotions CEO, Anthony Kermah, expressed gratitude to Alhaji Fattah of Unity Park and Mr Robert Mensah of Round Up Lounge for sponsoring the event.

He stated that the night would be a good show which would feature the man of the moment, Bastie Samir, in a four-round exhibition bout against Habib Ahmed in the super-middleweight division.

Both boxers will seek to end the year on a high note as they bid to achieve the solitary goal of inching closer to a world title shot in 2018.
