Will it be Hearts or All Stars?

High-flying Accra Hearts of Oak have yet another task to silence northern heavyweights Wa All Stars as the two teams gear up for a showdown tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium in a week six top fixture.

The two teams have been trading positions at the top, with the Phobians currently perching comfortably, leading with 13 points, while All Stars follow hard on their heels with 11 points.

The two sides have remained undefeated after five games and tomorrow’s crucial duel would decide who reigns supreme after week six.

While Coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi and his charges are banking their hopes on their improved form and stamina, as well as the vociferous home support to burst the bubble of their opponents, Coach Amos Adepa and his boys are also plotting to descend heavily on Hearts to repeat their 3-0 back-to-back thumping of the Phobians in 2014.

Hearts, who narrowly escaped relegation last season but are shockingly thriving now under the tutelage of the Japanese tactician, will line up a blend of old and new players such as experienced Mustapha Essuman, Robin Gnagne, Sam Yeboah, Sabahn Laryea, Cosmos Dauda, Richard Akrofi and Musah Ibrahim to exact their pound of flesh from the visitors.

Another cracker for the week is the game between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars at the Dormaa Ahenkro Park where embattled Coach David Duncan comes face-to-face with his expatriate counterpart Aristica Cioaba.

Both Kotoko and Aduana have experienced a poor start this season but Kotoko need a win badly to assuage the thirst of their teeming supporters who are already calling for the head of Duncan.

In other fixtures, Ebusua Dwarfs will take on Inter Allies at the Robert Mensah Park in Cape Coast, New Edubiase host Techiman City at the Len Clay Stadium, Sekondi Hasaacas engage Berekum Chelsea, Liberty Professionals clash with AshantiGold at the Carl Reindorf Park, while Dreams FC lock horns with WAFA at the Dawu Stadium.
