Over the last few weeks, ADB has undergone a massive rebranding, which has been largely successful and welcomed by all stakeholders, particularly its customers.

The opening of the bank comes at a time ADB has committed itself to a renewed spirit of banking that aims at the highest form of excellent banking service to be delivered by the staff to all its customers.

The Ejisu branch is the first model branch of the ADB in terms of its design, interior décor, branding and furnishing to serve as the minimum standard for all future branches to be opened.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Managing Director of ADB, Mr Stephen Kpordzih, said the new identity in its rebranding reflected the bank's desire to keep on improving on all the aspects of business operations and also to strengthen relationships with its customers.

He mentioned its logo, which is part of its new identity and  portrays ADB as a "forward-looking bank poised to forge ahead to attain its objectives and goals".

The Ejisu branch, he indicated, would be the first branch to experience a new banking product from ADB and ensure that the services of the bank could be accessed by customers drawn from the municipality.

He noted that until the presence of the branch in the Ejisu area, cherished customers of the bank were forced to travel all the way to the centre of Kumasi to transact business and expressed the hope that the bank would give its best of "banking services, greater comfort and convenience".

He, however, pledged the bank's stand to live up to expectation and to keep the faith and trust reposed in it by its customers.

The Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah-Ponkoh, admitted that the municipality was fast growing in all aspects of socio-economic life.

He said the competition posed by the international banks operating in the country made it more compelling for the local banks to be ingenious and innovative.

The Ejisumanhene, Nana Afrane Okese Guakro IV, cut the tape to open the branch office.
