Alisa Hotels wins top industry awards, expands footprint with new projects

Alisa Hotels Group has capped the year with major industry recognition, infrastructure expansion and renewed investment in sustainable hospitality, reinforcing its position as one of Ghana’s leading business hotel brands.

The hotel group announced that it received two top honours in 2025, winning the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hospitality Hotel Award and the Association of Ghana Industries Award for Best Company in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector in the Four Star Hotel category. The accolades were attributed to consistent service delivery, adherence to international standards and strong customer loyalty.

In a year-end statement, the group expressed appreciation to its clients and guests, describing their patronage as central to the brand’s growth and resilience in a competitive hospitality market.

As part of efforts to enhance guest experience, Alisa Hotels undertook refurbishment works across its facilities, with significant upgrades at the Pegasus Wing. The remodelling introduced new furnishings, refreshed interiors and redesigned corridors, aimed at improving comfort and visual appeal for guests.

The group also expanded its meetings and events capacity in response to growing demand from corporate and social clients. A newly developed pavilion, capable of hosting up to 800 guests depending on seating arrangement, was added to its infrastructure. Two fully air-conditioned dome facilities were also introduced, offering flexibility for conferences, weddings and large-scale events, including off-site rentals with curated catering services. Complementary facilities such as a lighted dance floor and a high-resolution LED screen measuring 21 feet by 9.6 feet were added to enhance event delivery.

On the growth front, Alisa Hotels recorded expansion beyond Accra following the successful opening of Alisa Hotel Tema, a 50-room facility targeting business travellers in the port city. Building on that momentum, the group confirmed the development of Alisa Hotel Heritage at North Ridge, an 80-room project designed to serve corporate clients, aircrew and long-stay guests. The new hotel is expected to further strengthen the brand’s footprint within the capital.

Sustainability remained a key focus in 2025, with the hotel transitioning to glass water bottles in guest rooms and conference spaces as part of its environmental responsibility drive. Alisa Hotels also maintained its international certifications, including ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management, ISO 22000:2018 for Food Safety Management and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety.

Beyond business operations, the group deepened its community engagement by donating GHS 50,000 to the Ga Mantse Foundation to support the annual Kinka Blonya Kids Party, contributing to the welfare of children within the Ga community.

Looking ahead to 2026, Alisa Hotels Group reaffirmed its commitment to innovation, partnership building and raising service standards within Ghana’s hospitality industry.
