B&P Associates marks 10th anniversary
Accra-based law firm B&P Associates recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a series of activities centred on the theme of Impact and Empowerment, showcasing its commitment to corporate social responsibility and a dynamic approach to legal practice in Ghana.
To mark this significant milestone, B&P Associates began with a charitable donation to the National Centre for Radiotherapy at Korle-Bu, followed by a thanksgiving service and a celebratory soiree at its Cantonments office.
Known for its expertise in corporate and commercial law, the firm has gained a reputation as a pioneering force in Ghana’s legal landscape, with a team of highly skilled, often dual-qualified lawyers, led by Managing Partner and certified Insolvency Practitioner, Mrs. Adelaide Benneh Prempeh.
Speaking during the event, Mrs. Benneh Prempeh expressed pride in the firm’s achievements over the past decade. "This milestone is a testament to our resilience, our commitment to empowerment, and, more importantly, our gratitude to our clients for trusting us," she remarked. "B&P Associates believes that law firms in Ghana play a vital role in driving economic growth, and our strategy has always been to build deep capacity and attract top talent to make a meaningful impact.”
The firm’s dedication to corporate responsibility and social impact was emphasised by its recent donation to the National Centre for Radiotherapy, aligning with the theme of the anniversary celebrations. Christian Odame, a legal associate at B&P, commented on the firm’s ethos: “Our theme of Impact and Empowerment reflects our core values. For us, success is not just about commercial achievements but also about how we impact the wider community. We believe in Ubuntu and are focused on giving back.”
Clients praised the firm’s innovative approach and regional outlook, highlighting its forward-thinking stance on initiatives such as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the Pan African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS). “B&P’s business-minded posture and exposure to regional developments are truly refreshing,” said a senior executive whose company retains B&P. “They’re actively exploring how these frameworks can benefit Ghanaian businesses.”
Reflecting on the firm’s journey, Mrs. Benneh Prempeh credited her faith, family, and close network for supporting B&P’s growth, affirming a commitment to fostering talent and strengthening Ghana’s legal sector. As part of the anniversary celebrations, B&P Associates plans to host a series of lectures, moot courts, and client appreciation events, further emphasising its commitment to empowering the next generation of Ghanaian legal professionals.
