CFAO partners Societe Generale for excavator sales
CFAO Equipment Ghana Limited has partnered with Societe Generale Ghana to purchase an excavator known as backhoe loader for contractors and entrepreneurs.

Intended to support Ghanaian contractors complete their projects, the facility will also help them to improve their efficiency and increase their profit.
A backhoe, also called a rear actor or back actor, is an excavator that has a digging bucket at the end of a two-part articulated arm. This is often mounted on the back of a tractor or front loader.
The agreement between the two bodies allows customers to pay 20 per cent of its cost to Societe Generale bank and spread the balance over a year.
The package also comes with one -year sales service.
The cost of construction equipment is the headache of many construction firms in Ghana. There have been occasions when contractors have abandoned their projects because of challenges with equipment.
But speaking at the ceremony to launch the package known as “Easy lease solution”, the Managing Director of CFAO Equipment Limited, Mr Alexis Madrange, said contractors who had been awarded contracts could apply through the easy lease solution to get the backhoe loader to enable them to complete their projects on time.
The Deputy Managing Director of Societe Generale, Mr Borut Vujcic, said the package was to provide financial solutions for contractors and entrepreneurs.
The Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing, Mr Collins Dauda, in a speech read on his behalf, said the introduction of the facility was timely, since the government was putting in place various policies to improve on local content for project implementation.
