Enterprise Properties expands services to wider market after 15 years
Enterprise Properties Limited (EPL), the real estate subsidiary of Enterprise Group, has officially expanded its operations beyond the Enterprise Group ecosystem to offer professional real estate services to the wider Ghanaian market after 15 years of operating largely as an in-house property management company.
This is to enable the company to leverage its experience, systems and professional expertise built over the years to meet the growing demand for structured and institutional-grade real estate services in Ghana.
The Managing Director of Enterprise Properties Limited (EPL), Kwadwo Nini Owusu, announced this during the launch of the company’s 15th anniversary celebration in Accra last Monday.
Speaking on the theme: “Embracing the Future: The Outlook for Ghana’s Real Estate Sector and Enterprise Properties’ Strategic Vision”, he described the strategic shift as the beginning of a “new chapter” for the company, noting that the company had developed strong internal systems, expertise and institutional capacity over the years and was now ready to compete in the broader market.
“So last year, EPL took a deliberate and strategic decision to expand our services beyond the Enterprise ecosystem. We opened our doors; our expertise, our systems, our people, our track record to the broader market,” he stated.
He explained that EPL would now provide integrated services, including property management, facilities management, leasing, project management, advisory and research services to external clients.
According to him, the company had evolved from a support function into what he described as a “growth engine”.
“Fifteen years ago, EPL was handed the responsibility of managing a modest portfolio within Enterprise Group. At that time, the expectation was simple — ‘keep the properties running’.”
“We have developed capabilities that, frankly, rival anything available in this market,” he stressed.
Mr Owusu further indicated that EPL intended to leverage technology, partnerships and professional asset management practices to strengthen its competitive advantage.
He also disclosed plans to expand the company’s footprint beyond Accra into emerging regional markets such as Kumasi, Takoradi and Tema, while exploring opportunities in Nigeria and The Gambia through the wider Enterprise Group network.
Compliance
The Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Real Estate Agency Council (REAC), Emmanuel Jeffery, commended EPL for demonstrating professionalism, resilience and ethical standards in Ghana’s real estate sector.
He noted that Enterprise Properties’ compliance with the Real Estate Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1047), and its full registration with REAC reflected its commitment to lawful and credible practice and encouraged all real estate practitioners to formalise their operations through licensing and registration, stressing that professionalism and trust remained essential to building a thriving real estate industry in Ghana.
He further affirmed REAC’s commitment to regulating and developing the real estate agency profession to ensure transparency and accountability in the sector.
