Seven people have died, and 21 others sustained injuries in a road crash on the Hwideim-Acherensua Highway in the Ahafo Region.
The crash involved a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus with registration number GT-9931-09 and a Kia Picanto with registration number BA-731-20.
Reports indicate crash, which occurred on September 8, 2026, was a result of a tyre burst. The driver of the Sprinter is said to have lost control, somersaulted and crashed into the Kia Picanto.
