Entrance Pharmaceuticals and Research Centre is a fully owned Ghanaian company, founded and promoted by Mr. Samuel Amo Tobbin and Mrs. Mercy Tobbin, who are veterans in the pharmaceutical industry. EPRC is the manufacturing subsidiary of the Tobinco Group, which has its historical antecedent to Tobinco Pharmaceuticals.

Our vision is to be the Premium Provider of quality pharmaceutical products.

Our mission is to meet the pharmaceutical needs of the sub-region by using innovative approaches to deliver premium quality products through our highly trained and dedicated staff in a qualified premise.

Our objectives are outlined as follows:

•  To produce high quality products to satisfy the needs and expectations of the sub-region and beyond. 

•  To exploit natural resources to produce standardized medicines, by research and development. 

• To produce products which are pre-qualified by the WHO and conform to other international 
norms 
The company was specifically designed, constructed and is being operated with strict adherence to the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). 

The quality of air in the manufacturing areas is controlled by air handling units with HEPA filters, in order to maintain a clean room environment that guards against cross-contamination. 

The company has its own independent contaminant-free water supply system. 
The company is committed to ensuring that all the products we manufacture meet the preset standards of quality, efficacy and safety.

To this end, products are not released without having undergone all the required pharmaceutical specifications. 


With installed capacities as shown below, the ultramodern facility manufactures non-sterile preparations, including anti-malaria, ARVs and other essential medicines in line with World Health Organisation (WHO) recommendations with separate dedicated facilities for the manufacture of beta-lactams (Penicillin) and non-beta-lactams (non-penicillin).
